I just found out there's a movie coming out in July 2010!
It's "The Last Airbender"!
Familiar?
IT SHOULD BE.

They're going to bring Avatar characters to life!
"The Last Airbender" is only portraying Book 1 (Season 1) of the series though.
Aang (安昂 ) is played by Noah Ringer, this 12 year-old regional Texas taekwondo champion as well as a fan of the television show.
:( Not as cute as the original one...
But close enough. Hahah!
Next is Katara (卡塔拉) !
Nicola Peltz plays Katara in the movie. You may remember her from ... I don't know where. But she's said to be in Miley Cyrus' "7 Things" MV. So... *shrugs*
I guess she can pull of being Katara.
OOPS.
Then there's Sokka (索卡 ) .
Played by Jackson Rathbone. Need I say more?
IT'S JASPER FROM "TWILIGHT".
As Sokka... If he's able to pull of the funny factor, then it's a *thumbs up*.
And of course, Zuko (蘇科) !
Played by... WTS? Dev Patel ?!?!?!?! That dude from "Slumdog Millionaire"?!
*insert a really huge frowning face*
How can he reflect Zuko's awesomeness?!

Many Avatar fans were upset with the casting, 'cause the show's based on an Asian context. Why else do you think they have such names?! Like Mai is 美 and Yue is 月.
And if you still think it's a Japanese cartoon...
