My mum's feeling much better now! Which is the best news EVAR this week.
I've been breaking down randomly, and most of them happen when I'm in school when I suddenly start worrying about my mum because I can't check up on her.

Chinese A Level was pretty alright.
Let's correct that, AO Level. (Thanks huh John, in my face somemore. Hahah!) Since it's H1 and not H2.

The paper, I agree, was quite tough, but manageable. I hope. Hope this isn't one of those "I think it was okay" moments that come and punch me right in the gut and give me a few slaps in the face when results are released.

Paper 1: I forgot to write the question number. HAHAHAH. But they said it wouldn't be penalised, or marks won't be heavily deducted. *fingers crossed*

Paper 2: I secured 12 marks! Okay, that's only because I only checked those 3 questions with friends and didn't bother to consider the other questions because I was hungry and I was just overjoyed that this whole Chinese thing is over.

Here's hoping I don't have to touch Chinese ever again for academic reasons! (I speak Mandarin at home okay.)

After lunch with Yan Ngee, Yan Shuang and Zong Xiang, we went to Popular. Loads of laughs and most of the jokes were probably on Yan Ngee. HAHAH.
Then I got a call from Constance.

Choir! I honestly forgot.

And I was planning to go home by 1.30pm to take care of my mum.

Today was actually quite awesome!
Despite the little tiff with Stanley and the waiting-incident. Heads up are very important.
Project Work is at it's peak now, so close to getting it over and done with. Oral Presentation is still one pain in the neck though. I know right? For a person like me, OP should be way easy. But it's not.
There's a different between talking and presenting. The biggest difference is the part where we have to memorise. But I have a feeling that my class will do fine. :D

Anyway, we watched My Sister's Keeper today. :D
By we, I mean Wen Jie, Dev, Pius, Justin, Zong Xiang, Brandon, Kai Xiang, Li Ying, Yan Shuang, Yan Ngee and myself.

Honestly, it was a major let down.
You'd expect to cry right? What with all the sad tales, sacrifices, craziness and leukemia thrown in together.
And the movie was in a bit of a mess. Unless you were there throughout the movie, and you linked it all together, you'd be confused.

And going with S21's bunch of jokers made it more of a comedy than anything else.

Learning to Pulau Tekong today.
I was guessing that classes made up of mostly guys had to go for this trip rather than the one to the Air Force Museum. Quite happy that we went Tekong rather than the museum.

I'm pretty alright with my results, though they aren't very glorious. And I really wanted my Chemistry to get at least a C.
But thank God I passed Math and Chemistry. Especially since I got an S for Math during MYE.

I have been going nuts due to Project Work. Sigh.
Today's meeting was fantastic though. Superbly productive. I think this was one of the most productive meetings we've ever had. Written report finalised, after so damn long. And our OP slides are roughly done! :D
I admit, when Yan Ngee informed me that we needed to put our conservation topic in our slides, I was taken aback and pissed.
No, I was superbly pissed.
'Cause I was told that the slides didn't need to include that bit.

Iberian Lynx you are one troublesome thing.

But your cubs are just beyond adorable.

So I ended up going crazy trying to complete the slides.
Now I'm even more exhausted.

I didn't get the chance, and still have yet to get the chance to watch Fame.
PW has been eating up my spare time. I just spent about 2 hours editting the written report.
Only. The. Written. Report. :(

However, I did get a hold of the soundtrack. The 2009 version. If you didn't already know, Fame (2009) is a remake of the movie Fame that came out in the 1980s.

In my opinion, the soundtrack's pretty awesome.
Since Fame's a musical, its soundtrack contains a variety of genres. I like this type of albums/soundtracks, 'cause you won't get bored of the album as quickly. And I'm the type who will stay hooked on the album and only listen to that album till I get bored. Hah!

My favourite song off this soundtrack is Fame, sang by Naturi Naughton. She plays Denise Dupree in the movie.

I think her voice is strong, but it isn't very unique, and doesn't really stand out.
Not BOOMZ.
HAH, bad joke. Sorry.

You may or may not recognise her from the group 3LW.

She was in 3LW with Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon, familiar names if you're a big fan or have watched any of the Cheetah Girls movie. They play Aquanette (better known as Aqua) and Chanel respectively.

Anyway, recently I was hooked on Guilty Pleasure.

It's an awesome album, very different from her previous album Headstrong.
Also has a variety of genres. But they don't veer much from each other.

Time to kick our butts into high gear for PW. Not looking forward to all the PW stuff, but I am thankful that my group has been absolutely brilliant! Sure, disagreements have occurred along the way, but nothing we couldn't handle. Today's meeting was really fruitful. Nothing produced, but loads of ideas generated and stuff planned. It's all being put into motion! YAY.

Today, I went to get my flu vaccination jab. If you didn't already know, I'm quite terrified of injections. I guess it's partly because of the pain. I say 'partly' because I've been through worst pain. My swollen toes, the numerous bruises and cuts I get per year, etc.
But I guess that it's mostly due to this some-metal-thing-getting-into-you-and-injecting-fluids-then-coming-out-leaving-this-small-bleeding-hole that creeps me not.
Okay, this doesn't mean I'd love the idea of a HUGE needle that leaves this enormous hole that gushes blood like WOOSH.

'cause that is just... disgusting.

Well, yea. So I guess that's what gets to me. And also the stories I've heard of needles breaking while still in your body. OMG? And being one who laughs at absolutely nothing... You get the idea. Hah.
Oh by the way, I started laughing yet crying when I saw the needle. I know right? 17 year old hello? LOL. But still... Hahah, I ain't the most normal person out there.

Oh yes, thanks Jia Yan and Rui Shan for lending me money to pay for the jab.
See, recently I've been outrageously blur.
I read my Monday's schedule as Tuesday's schedule. And I forgot to bring my laptop charger for PW today. (Yes I've put it in my bag, ready for tomorrow.)
And I happily brought only $7 to school today, totally disregarding the fact I was supposed to go for a jab. *face palm*
And after spending $2 on lunch, I had only $5 left.
Common sense would tell you 5 bucks won't cover a jab. So I borrowed $10 from RS.

Then Jia Yan told me Marcus told her that the vaccination costs about $28.

This week has been pretty awesome!

Monday we had PW lecture, which was hilarious, and enrichment programme.
Shuang and I went for Street Jazz, and we met Bi Qin and Jing Peng there, as well has a few classmates. :D
It was a blast! Bi Qin and I were laughing so much. LOL.

Today was the Inter-house games.
It was down right tiring, but outrageously fun. :D
Okay, so didn't win. But we had loads of fun!

I was just so in love with Pokemon Yellow. Why, you ask? 'Cause of PIKACHU. My favourite Pokemon EVAR, and also my favourite Pokemon back in the days when I was still absolutely hooked on this whole Pokemon shenanigans.

SO AWESOME.

Oh, by the way, this explains why I nearly typed Butterfree just now.
'Cause she's quite cute. :D
Never got the Catarpie to evolve into her, 'cause I was just to damn lazy to train that weak thing. Lol.

My main Pokemon is Torchic, which has evolved into Combusken.

Went to study with Bi Qin and Yan Ngee yesterday, and with Rui Shan, Zong Xiang and Yan Ngee (again!) today.

Only took photos yesterday though.

We took about 40 photos, but I only posted 4, because if I wanted to post more, it'd all just be Yan Ngee and her glorious spastic looks.
And she'd kill me if I posted them up here.

Anyway, super short update, just to keep my blog alive.

She went to plug her charger in so she could charge her phone.

She flipped the switch, and nothing happened!

Then she realised she didn't plug her charger...
to her phone..

GENIUS.

The week literally just whizzed by. Argh.
Promos start next monday and I'm like going CRAZEEEE.

School was good. I laughed a lot, which is a plus... even though I do that everyday.

Watching Yan Ngee go all uhhhhhhhh 'cause she was so sleepy was hilarious. 'Cause she'd just keep saying "I just feel.... *fists shaking* so.... tired."

I got Guan Cheng to call Justin about the class photos. And Guanch happily said "Hi, I'm Sze Ming." When Justin asked who told me about the payment thing, Guanch asked me "Who told me?"
I said "My friend from SC."
He went to tell Justin, "This friend from SC told Sze Ming... which is me. Yes. Me. Sze Ming."

Oh. And RS and I waved at the guys in the library from the 2nd floor.

I had so many accesorries on me. D:
Necklace, bracelets, a head piece and a belt.
The reason why all my bracelets were on one arm was because they couldn't fit through my right hand. HAHAH.
No, seriously, they couldn't. My right hand's bigger than my left hand.
I tried to put ONE in and that itself took me a couple of minutes. Then I tried to take it out, which was kind of tortureous.

Today was just one of those days you'd look back and laugh at. And you'd think I'd be in a foul mood considering how my day went. On the contary, I'm fine! And as happy as I usually am. Hahah.

Today, we had food from the chicken rice stall.
Which, by the way, gives free soup if you ask for it.

So we decided to get one bowl to share amongst the four of us.
Guess what.

And my bag got a soup bath.

I was quite upset about it, not 'cause of the fact I'll have to wash my bag. And I wasn't worried my notes were wet, 'cause my bag has a waterproof interior lining.
I was upset, 'cause my bag smelt like chicken soup.

But since I couldn't dry it with a dry tissue, 'cause it'll get tissue flakes all over my bag... I waited it to dry (kind of) and wiped it with wet tissue.

I have loads of energy left over from today. :(

We had Chemistry S.P.A. today! At 8am! I think we were the very very first batch to take Chemistry SPA, along with Bi Qin's class.
It was funny 'cause Mr Suresh was the invigilator. And since we were the first batch of the day....

Gas supply wasn't on!
So you could hear the lab suddenly filled with the tick tack tick tack TICK TACK TICK TACK!!!!! Of the sparklers.

AND THE FAN WASN'T OFF. LOL!
So guess what happened when I got the bunsen burner to light?
The flame just WOOOOOOOOOOOSH towards me, and burnt off my left hand's knuckle hair (?) I have no idea what that's called.

So I went to the library, could not find a table, and settled for a sit-on-the-floor-and-use-those-cushioned-benches-as-a-table kind of thing. Which happens to me a lot... Hmm... Then I have no idea why, I just started sniffling.

I've finally decided to post up the PW Day photos. (And blog)

So I was quite quiet during GP. Then when I told Yan Ngee why I was being all mime-like, she asked if I wanted WATER.
I replied her sms, "No, later we get detention for sharing water!"

Yan Ngee and I had the urge to sign out today. We were so brain dead and majorly lethargic. Okay, I know, we were still laughing and what not, but after that it was a little bit of feet-dragging-eyes-closing kind of feeling.

But no, we didn't sign out.
'Cause Rui Shan and Yan Shuang were teaching for P.E. today and of course, we have to support!! Dang, I feel noble. HAHAHAHHA.

Night study was fruitful! It was funny when the uncle brought out the drink dispensers containing milo or some other drink.
Why?
'Cause there were people crowding and queueing. It just really looked like some food rationing exercise back in the post-WWII period.

I laughed so much today, although today started off a little boring and all.

The day started off with us being unable to find the class queue, 'cause we had to shift to get into the sitting arrangement for tomorrow's National Day celebrations. And because I'm a lazy person, I'll type NDC from now on. LOL.
Then we had to stay back after the morning assembly to meet the new CT.

Today's PTM was as I expected.

Then about results, promotion requirements, university admittion requirements.

Headed home, after around like 45 minutes, went to meet Mei Yuan at the bus stop to head down for tuition.
We went to Lot 1 to get some snacks, and there was this Nippon... Fest... thing... going on, so we decided to go check it out. We ended up buying a pack of candies each.
While queueing up at the cashier, this lady bought 1 pack of 10 boxes of candies. The cashier told her it's actually sold individually. So the lady said she wanted 6 instead. After opening the pack, she scanned the boxes of candies.

ONE BY ONE.

Oh but that's not it!
After she scanned the rest of the items, they realised this other item was scanned twice!

SO GUESS WHAT.
She cleared it all, and scanned it all in.
Again.

The lady said she'd buy 10 boxes of candies instead.

WTS.

So the cashier scanned 1 box 10 times. Instead of, oh I don't know... scan it and just key x10 into the machine.

After tuition, we went to the pasar malam near Lot 1... and bought STICKERS. HAHAHA. I bought some for my brother too. Mei Yuan was going nuts with the stickers.

Results. Not fantastic. Not even close to "so-so". And way off from "okay". The only subject that I feel comforted by is GP.
The rest are just jacked up to the highest possible level in my book. I didn't get all U grades or anything. But I honestly doubt my chances of promoting. Like this little voice screaming "RETAIN" in my head, going on and on.

And the only thing I have to shut that screaming jack ass up is:

Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal are my favourites.

A piece of fan art I drew back in 2008.
One of the pieces I spent quite some time on. Especially to make sure the mane's ruffs are pointed, the shading fades off and blends in. 'Cause I didn't have any shading tools, I had to scribble the shading in, and use my fingers to smudge them, leaving me with really grey shiny fingertips.
But the whole experience was fun! Haha.

And I was like "Huh...? Where?"
Guess what, he was seated down in Mos Burger, directly infront of me. Like 3 metres away. OMG. Chemistry has started to rot my brain. It's deteriorating!

While we were eating, Mei Yuan walked pass, and Yan Ngee offered her fries. She reached out infront of me, fry in hand "MY! Want some fries?"
Her arm was right infront of my eyes, say... an inch or two away from my face. And I wanted to eat my food! So I reached up and flicked her arm away. LOL. And the fry kind of... Took a nose drive to the floor.

When we left, we stood there, and waved goodbye to Marvin. His reaction was priceless, one of those *shocked* are-they-waving-to-me head jerks followed by a wave and laugh. Hahahah.
